The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam
(BCECE) is a state level examination conducted annually by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive
Examination Board (BCECEB) for the admissions into professional courses in
medicine, engineering, and agriculture in colleges of Bihar. BCECE is
considered as the fairest entrance exam for the means of admission in the state
of Bihar where student base is large and the seats are less. BCECE is meant for the admissions of
students residing in the state of Bihar while even other state students can
take this assessment test for admissions.
ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA for the BCECE EXAMINATION
The
interested candidates wishing to apply for the BCECE must qualify the following criteria:

Must have passed 10+2 exam from any
recognized Indian university / board
·
Minimum 60% aggregate marks and 50% in the
case of SC/ST category
OR,
·
Candidates should possess a B.Sc degree
·
Minimum 50% aggregate marks and 45& in
the case of SC/ST category
·
Minimum age limitation is 17 years for the medical
and agriculture streams

The
registration process for applying online usually starts in the month of
February. Candidates are required to register, fill the application form,
provide all details accurately and pay the application fee. After completion of
the form, candidates have to print the same and send it with relevant documents
at a particular address.
APPLICATION
FEEfor the BCECE
Usually, the
application fees for the BCECE
examination can be made either through a Bank Challan or by Credit Cards /
Debit Cards / Net Banking. Generally, the fee differs on the basis of Courses
or Caste Categories.
EXAM PATTERNfor
the BCECE
This
examination takes place in two phases where qualifying in the first phase exam
allows the candidate to appear in the second phase exam.
The first
phase exam follows a ‘Multiple Choice Questions’ pattern carrying 600 marks
having 3 sections and 50 questions in each section.
In the
second phase, each subject section has 100 questions with 400 maximum marks and
four subject sections.
Candidates
should stay updated with the information relating to exam pattern and detailed
subject wise syllabus through the official website.
ADMIT CARDS
for the BCECE
There are
separate admit cards for both the exam phase. The cards can be downloaded by
the candidate through the official website. Candidates need to provide certain details
and then download and print the admit cards for both the exams.
RESULTS of
the BCECE
As soon as
the results of the BCECE are
declared, it gets uploaded to the official website. Candidates can easily view
and download the 1st and 2nd phase exam merit list.
